• Internet Service Provider (ISP)
• Date and time stamp
• Referring/exit pages

These logs are used solely for monitoring website performance, ensuring security, diagnosing technical issues, and preventing abuse.

2. Cookies

We do not use tracking cookies or marketing cookies on our website. We may use essential, technical cookies or local storage solely to support session security (such as for the administrator login dashboard) and to store user preferences (e.g. search settings).

3. Third-Party Services

CurateTools operates as an aggregator. We fetch metadata, statistics, and documentation from external repositories. The primary third-party services we interact with include:

• GitHub API / npm / PyPI: Used to discover and query public MCP server packages and repository details.
• OpenRouter (DeepSeek V4): Used by our background pipeline to analyze, summarize, and enrich descriptions of tools. This happens entirely in the backend; visitor query data is not sent to the LLM.
• Supabase: Our database provider, used to host catalog data.

4. Admin Dashboard Security

The administrative section of our website is restricted using password-based basic authentication. Login credentials and pipeline API keys are securely kept in server environment variables and are never transmitted to general users.
